The current independent variable name is shown inside the indicated box. A different independent variable can be selected from the list of names given in the same box.
The dependent variables shown on the graph can be turned “on” and “off” by clicking the associated check box. A variable which is turned “off “ is not shown on the graph and its values are not taken into account by the automatic scaling routine (unless the Auto Scale option is turned off).
The name of a depended variable can be changed by marking it and then clicking on the "Label" button
There is also an option to add function curves to the graph. An expression for such a function may contain the variable “x” as the independent variable. To enter a function mark the “Functions” option and enter in the dialog box that opens the required expression (for example: sin(x)). Functions can also be turned “on” and “off” just like the variables.
Derived curves can be built from other existing curves by clicking the Add button when the "Scatters" option is marked.
